A TRILOGY OF OLD WEST FICTION
Three books which paint a vivid picture of life and death struggles

in the Old West of the 1800s .....................

A Most Dark And Bloody Land
is the first of three completed novels set in Texas and Mexico in the 1840’s. It encompasses the use of the revolutionary cap and ball Paterson Colt Revolver. The cast of characters includes the legendary Texas Ranger, Captain John Coffee Hays, and the republic’s first president, Sam Houston. The story highlights the truly frightening nature of combat against the Comanche nation. Two published authors have given it highly favourable reviews. Linda Acaster said “Readers who enjoyed the ‘Sharpe’ series by Bernard Cornwell will find much to enjoy here, not least the keen historical detail and romping storyline. Highly recommended!” whilst crime-writing favourite Stuart Pawson stated “It’s an interesting place and period, with three or four cultures clashing, larger than life characters, a casual approach to life and death, and all against a dramatic landscape.” The direct sequels are titled

and                                        A Most Damnable Campaign
